Rio Linda AYSO Soccer

 Our Region provides a Fall recreational youth soccer league for all boys & girls ages 4-1/2 to 18 that are interested in playing soccer.

We are part of Area 2D and the older kids interplay with teams from the other regions in Area 2D: Antelope, Davis, Winters, Esparto and Capay.

Teams practice once or twice a week starting in August and games are Saturday mornings from September to early November.

Rio Linda Region 1111 Divisions:

U6 (under six) Division

Coed teams of 5 players each that play 3v3 on a 15y x 30y field with 4’x6’ pop-up goals (no keepers).

All games are intra regional.

U8 (under eight) Division

Coed teams of 7 players each that play 5v5 on a 25y x 50y field with 6’x6’ goals (no keepers).

All games are intra regional.

U10 (under ten) Division

Coed teams of 10 players each that play 7v7 on a 25y x 50y field with 6’x15’ goals (with keepers). 

All games are intra regional.

U12 (under twelve) Division

Single gender teams of 12 players each that play 9v9 on a 60y x 80y field with 8’x24’ goals (with keepers). Teams start to play other regions and travel to other regions to play some games. 

U14 (under fourteen), U19 (under nineteen) Divisions

Single gender teams that play 11v11 on a 60y x 110y field with 8’x24’ goals (with keepers).

Teams play other regions and travel to other regions to play some games.
